The Committee Louis Lecoin constituted itself in 1993 to support the Office European of the Conscientious objection (BEOC) and to relay its action in France. Its goal aims has to obtain a statute acceptable for the conscientious objectors in all the countries of large Europe.

The Committee Louis Lecoin and the Office European of the Conscientious objection defend the right to the refusal to kill near the international organizations and in all the countries of Europe.

The BEOC supported prisoners in Greece, in Turkey, in Cyprus, in Yugoslavia...

It orchestrated the countryside for the statute of the objectors in Greece, tore off in 1997, thanks to the pressure of the thousands of letters, testimonys at the time of lawsuit, the visits of prisoners, the meetings with the Greek ministers.....

The BEOC wants to obtain the right of asylum for all those which refuse their contribution to an army. It works with European deputies, made proposals for the reports/ratios on the humans right, organizes seminars in Strasbourg and Budapest, with the Council of Europe.....
