Guy Aldred


Glasgow anarchist and political activist, Guy Aldred (1886-1963), is well represented in the collections. He was an anti-parliamentarian socialist who believed in communes rather than parties. Numerous times he stood for election (on his own terms) in Glasgow, though he was never elected.
